Today, there will be low clouds over the north Ardennes region with showers in West Flanders and generally in Wallonia. However, sunny spells will appear in the followingnoon in the northwest and center of the country. The north winds will keep the air cool with maximum temperatures ranging between 7 to 10° in the Ardennes and near the sea, and 10 to 13° elsewhere. At night, the sky will remain cloudy with a few gaps and the showers will disappear. On Easter Sunday, the air mass will dry up, resulting in more sunny periods, pleasantly mild temperatures, and little wind. Anticipate temperatures reaching 16 to 19° in the interior of the country and 12 to 15° in coastal areas as well as the Ardennes. Easter Monday will experience a progressive cloudiness of the sky from the English Channel and England, with temperatures remaining between 10 and 16°. The week following Easter will initially maintain the risk of rain over Benelux and north-west of France, but forecast models are optimistic for drier and noticeably milder weather from 16th April onwards. Temperatures are expected to post 13 to 20° followingwards.
There will even be low stratus over the northern Ardennes terrain.

Note lows between 1 and 6° south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow and between 5 and 9° elsewhere.
SATURDAY
The sky will be divided between sunny periods and cloudy periods in the slow north-easterly flow with temperatures which will rise between 13 and 16° in the plain, between 9 and 11° by the sea and in the upper Ardennes.
Easter Sunday
The anticyclone will not move much over northern Scandinavia but the current over our regions will veer a little more towards the east which will favor a drying of the air mass and therefore more sunny periods.
It will be pleasantly mild in the followingnoon with little wind and above all temperatures that can reach 16 to 19° in the interior of the country and 12 to 15° at the sea as in the Ardennes.
Easter Monday
A disturbed and rainy band will arrive on the English Channel and England which will cause a progressive cloudiness of the sky from the sea and the French border.
It will start to rain in the early followingnoon on the coast and then gradually more towards the interior of the country.
It will be a little less mild with temperatures remaining between 10 and 16°.
Evolution for next Tuesday and Wednesday
This rainy disturbance will be followed on Tuesday by a cooler westerly ocean current with alternating clearings and cloud formations but without showers.
The wind will become more sensitive with peaks of 40 to 60 km/h and temperatures will continue to drop towards values between 8 and 12° in the Ardennes and between 12 and 15° in other places.
With the passage of a very windy depression in the north of Ireland and over Scotland, the south-westerly wind will continue to blow next Wednesday in gusts of between 50 and 70 km/h with the passage of a rainy zone in the course of the day. It will be cool with daytime temperatures losing another 1 to 2 degrees over the day.
Probable trend for the period from April 13 to 19
The low pressure activity will mainly be localized over the center and the north of the Atlantic Ocean which will keep us in the south-westerly flow which will initially be still cool but which will soften more and more followingwards.
The disturbed areas will mainly pass over the English Channel, the British Isles and the North Sea, which will still initially maintain the risk of rain over the Benelux and north-west of France, but the forecast models are more optimistic for the continued with drier and noticeably milder weather from 16 April.
The maximum which will be between 7 and 14° at the beginning of the period should post 13 to 20° followingwards.
In summary, the weather forecast for the coming days is a mix of clouds and rain, with occasional sunny spells. Temperatures are expected to be cool, but will gradually rise in the latter half of next week.
