In agreement with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), the LS Frais brand is withdrawing from sale the product “Jambon d’Ardenne BGA / IGP” (+-135g) of the Saint Alby Selection brand and the recalls to consumers due to the possible presence of Listeria bacteria, supermarket chain Lidl announced Friday in a press release.
“Lidl Belgium asks its customers not to consume this product and to return it to the point of sale at which it was purchased. You will be reimbursed even without presentation of the receipt,” adds the store chain.
The products concerned display the minimum durability date (“Best before”) February 23, 2024. They were put on sale between December 1 and 28.
