From this Wednesday, Belvédère invites discovery and fun walks. The project was born from the desire of regarding fifteen people from Belvedere to highlight their village through its architecture, its craftsmen and operators.
Two visit themes will be proposed with the main concepts of sharing, exchanges and conviviality.
“Beautiful village that deserves to be discovered”
“Gourmet flavor” tours are organized from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The opportunity to discover a farm and enjoy a picnic prepared by the farmers with their products. Magali Bachelez, who will receive the groups in her small agricultural farm, explains: “The idea is to make people aware of short circuit consumption, promote the local economy and introduce people to permaculture.”
After lunch, a guided tour of the village with a route designed around the milk museum, the educational stopover and the honey house for a journey into the world of bees. The lovers of their village will then offer a beer tasting. The opportunity for participants to learn a little more regarding the manufacturing process at the Even Not Cap brewery.
Patricia Guerinot, beekeeper, supports: “ These visits are a link between the actors of the village and it creates a dynamic. We have a beautiful village that deserves to be discovered.”
Another formula is offered for half a day. From 2 to 5 p.m., “tales and legends visits” will also be offered this Wednesday.
Along the picturesque alleys and squares, registrants will be able to meet local storytellers. Among them: Alain Grinda. “ It is my village, that of my ancestors and I am happy to make it known through tales and legends.”
The public will be drawn into the heart of the stories (imaginary or not) of a past time. At the end of the day, visit the milk museum and pay homage to the Belvedere troubadour, Zéphirin Castelon, before ending with a pastry workshop at the village bakery.
