Lee Da-in of ‘Lovers’ returns to historical dramas following marrying Lee Seung-gi.
MBC’s new Fri-Sat drama ‘Lovers’ (script Hwang Jin-young/director Kim Seong-yong) released a still cut of Da-in Lee on the 13th.
‘Lovers’ is a human history melodrama that deals with the love of lovers and the vitality of the people who pass each other through the Byeongja Horan. Writer Hwang Jin-young, who wrote the myth of historical drama invincibility through ‘The Emperor’s Daughter, Baek Su-hyang’ and ‘Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People’, and director Kim Seong-yong, who proved his powerful directing skills with ‘Black Sun’, collaborated and became the best actor in Korea recognized by others. Namgoong Min announced his return to historical dramas following 10 years and became the most anticipated drama in the second half of 2023.
Previously, the production team of ‘Lovers’ drew attention by revealing the stills of Namgoong-min (Lee Jang-hyeon) with melodrama eyes, Ahn Eun-jin (Yoo Gil-chae), who is neat in the snow, and Lee Hak-joo (Nam Yeon-jun), who predicted a full-fledged historical drama challenge. The fourth main character to lead ‘Lovers’ is Lee Da-in (Kyung Eun-ae).
Kyung Eun-ae, played by Da-in Lee in the play, is Nam Yeon-jun’s fiancée and Yu Gil-chae’s closest friend. She is a wise and benevolent woman who knows how to see the bright side of the world first, and she has a different strength and charm from the snobbish and arrogant Yu Gil-chae.
Dain in the still is staring at somewhere with deep eyes as if he had a lot of emotions. Even though it is a still that captures her moments, the affectionate feelings felt by the character are felt intact. Furthermore, the curiosity rises regarding what Lee Da-in is looking at with her dim eyes. Also, her graceful appearance in Hanbok, her clear and clean skin, and delicate and innocent charm arouse admiration for her.
