Tinder, Meetic, Bumble… Outdated by Waze? This is the case in the singular love story of Vivian and Enzo. The two men, who will marry in September 2023, met under rather specific conditions. In 2019, while traveling by car towards the Var, accompanied by his sister and a friend, Vivian opens Waze to choose the less clogged route. He then discovers that it is possible to interact with other users of the road application.
Arrived at a toll, the small group receives a message from a vehicle housing four boys, including Enzo, which tells them that one of the rear lights of his car is out of order. “Will you buy us a coffee at the next motorway service area to thank us for the information?”, ask the benefactors via the message service. More than a summer love
As agreed, Vivian and her passengers stop at the next station and meet the group of boys over a drink. Once the contacts have been exchanged, they agree to meet once more during the holidays, their destinations not being very far from each other, specifies BFM TV. But Vivian forgets her bag on the motorway service area and it is Enzo’s group who recovers it and informs her. The merry band finally finds themselves sooner than expected.
Vivian and Enzo then start a relationship, which continues during the summer. For a year, the couple lived at a distance, then decided to move in together. The epilogue of this story will therefore take place next September and will give birth to the beginning of a whole new adventure for the two boys who, thanks to Waze, have found the way to happiness.
