Deprived of the scene for more than a year because of her stiff person syndrome (SPR), Celine Dion will soon land on our screens with the film Love Againwhose first trailer was unveiled on Tuesday.

Small compensation for Celine Dion fans, this feature film will allow them to see their idol on the big screen in just under three months. The singer put her career on hold in October 2021, following severe muscle spasms preventing her from performing on stage. She has since been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome.
In the romantic comedy Love Againa journalist (Sam Heughan) asks for help from none other than Celine Dion to meet – and conquer – a woman (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), whose phone number he only has.

A new song
According to the first images unveiled on Valentine’s Day, the singer will have several scenes; we see it in particular in the context of a press conference, meetings with the journalist and a telephone conversation with the character of Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
In this last segment, Celine Dion even pushes the note, just to prove to her interlocutor that she is indeed the international star.
A new unreleased song by the singer will also be heard in the film, which also stars Russell Tovey, Lydia West, Sofia Barclay and Nick Jonas.

Formerly titled It’s All Coming Back to Me – an obvious reference to the success of Celine Dion – this feature film by James C. Strouse has since been renamed Love Again.
Filming would have taken place in England and the United States between October 2020 and the beginning of 2021, before the diva of Charlemagne took a professional break.
The next date on the singer’s agenda is, for the moment, set for August 26.
If all goes well, Celine Dion will take to the stage at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam before continuing her long-awaited European tour through France, Ireland, England and Germany in the following months.
