the national senator Martin Lousteau pointed out on the night of Monday, May 8, following the last PRO summit, that the former president Mauricio Macrishould not contribute to injure Together for Change”. It was in response to his latest statements in relation to the elections that took place last Sunday in Jujuy, La Rioja and Misiones.

The former president pointed out —when arriving at the new meeting of PRO leaders, a meeting that was held in Palermo— that the electoral results “are not representative because there are provinces that They have been managed for many years by feudal systems which do not represent, but the time of freedom is coming for them too.”

“What Macri said is that the results were not representative because they were feudal provinces,” said Lousteau in dialogue with Diego Sehinkman in just one more lap (TN) and marked that “It is not a statement that contributes to the tranquility of Together for Change”.

In this regard, the pre-candidate for head of the Government of Buenos Aires indicated: “The statement calls my attention because while the PRO has noise, what the former president should not do is contribute with testimonials that can hurt Together for Change”. And he expressed: “I want to believe that it does not disqualify the triumph of radicalism in Jujuy.”

“While the PRO is trying to calm things down, and I think the former president says that the PRO has to work more consensually, I think it’s a bad statement into the coalition, because it is detrimental to what is happening in Jujuy”, he considered.

The results of the Elections in Jujuy: the radical Carlos Sadir won with almost 50% of the votes

Lousteau also recalled that Macri “said that freedom will come to those three provinces” and affirmed that “freedom came with a candidate for La Rioja and the only thing that facilitated is the triumph of the caste and what was already there, which will continue the same”.

“What Martin Menem did was subtract votes from Together for Change,” he added, in tune with the president of radicalism and current governor of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales, who considered: “In the case of La Rioja, Milei’s participation makes us lose the elections”.

And he continued: “It is not a statement that contributes to the tranquility of JxC. It calls my attention because it seems to me that should not contribute with statements to injure Together for Change. That kind of no statements doesn’t help.”

PRO Summit to define candidates and interns: “Play together,” asked Macri

“Morales not only restored the economic order, because Jujuy went from having a deficit to a surplus, but also the order of the State. He managed to beat Peronism following 32 years and, following two terms, he is winning once more now with a constitutional reform that, among other things, it will constitutionally eliminate pickets, privileges and indefinite re-election. So saying that Jujuy is a feudal province seems to me quite the opposite.that came out of there”, sentenced.

In this sense, and to finish, Lousteau remarked that Milei’s candidate “was functional” to the Riojan ruling party, headed by Ricardo Quintela, who surpassed 50% of the votes on Sunday night and was re-elected governor.
