Carlos Alcaraz has become the image of Luis Vuitton.
The luxury brand Louis Vuitton adds tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, the youngest player to achieve world No. 1, to his team of brand ambassadors. After securing partnerships with Rolex, Calvin Klein and Nike, the Spanish athlete’s foray into fashion will see him represent the group in their adverts and events as part of the collaboration.

At just 20, the US Open winner is the latest in a growing list of athletes signed by big-name companies to help them break into new markets and boost sales. Its sponsors bring the person concerned the equivalent of 5 million euros annually, in addition to the earnings he pockets from the professional tennis circuit.

Like Alcaraz, the Japanese-American tennis player, Naomi Osaka, has also been an ambassador for Louis Vuitton since 2021. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, the brand also brought in Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the part of a viral campaign.
