As the lotteries announced, the winnings amounted to 10,887,160.80 euros, making it the third highest lottery winnings ever achieved in Austria. Success was achieved with a quick tip; a computer placed the six correct numbers: 3, 12, 30, 41, 42 and 45. The winning tip was the sixth of a total of eight played.
A total of 8.1 million tips were submitted for the drawing, which increased the winnings to around 10.9 million euros. The correct tip was given at a collection point in Lower Carinthia.
