How the “6aus49” lottery works
Before the drawing, the player fills out a ticket. Then six out of a total of 49 winning numbers are ticked. After submitting the ticket, six balls are drawn from a pool of 49 numbered balls. The aim of the game is for as many of the numbers determined to match the previously typed numbers as possible. To the Jackpot to crack, you need the correct super number in addition to six correct winning numbers. This is the last digit of the ticket number, i.e. a number between zero and nine. The super number is drawn from a pool of ten numbers after the “6aus49” has been drawn.
Depending on the number typed correctly or the correct super number, there are a total of nine prize categories. To win, at least two numbers must be typed correctly and the super number must be correct.

The amount of the prize depends on the prize class and the stake. The more numbers that are correct, the better the prize category and the amount paid out. The sum of money distributed over the nine prize categories corresponds to 50 percent of the stake. Forced distribution of the jackpot
Since September 23, 2020, the following applies to the compulsory distribution: If the sum in Jackpot which exceeds 45 million euros, there will be a guaranteed distribution. If a player bets on six correct numbers plus a super number, the jackpot amount is played out as usual. However, if no player has reached prize class 1 again, there will be a compulsory distribution. The amount will then be credited to the winner of prize category 2. If this is also vacant, the amount goes to the one below it, etc. Theoretically, it is therefore possible for the sum to be distributed to prize category 9.
Until September 19, 2020, the regulation still applied that there would be a compulsory payout if there was no direct hit in prize category 1 after twelve draws.
