The truce is short-lived. A disturbance will reach Italy and trigger a sharp worsening of the weather. The rain will get the better of the weather forecast first in the Northwest and then in the Northeast, in Tuscany, Umbria, the Marche and Sardinia. Word of Colonel Mario Giuliacci, who on the site meteogiuliacci.it published its bulletin. “The disturbance will pass away quickly, but another will arrive immediately behind it which on Thursday will bring new rain to much of the North, central Tyrrhenian regions and Sardinia”, anticipated the expert.
The South, at least in this first phase, will be safe. Indeed, there is more. It will also resist the “anomalous heat”. This is a meteorological picture, which however is not destined to last long. On Friday “the rain, at times intense, will wet practically all of our regions from north to south”. In other words, it will be the “worst day of the week, literally dominated by bad weather”.
We won’t abandon the umbrella even on the weekend. The rain “will persist in most of our regions” also on Saturday, when “only Sicily and Sardinia” will be partially spared. A different situation will occur on Sunday, when “the residual rains will be concentrated mainly in the South and in the central Adriatic regions”.
