Game News Lost Ark: negative reviews are raining on Steam, a very specific element questioned by players
Collective impatience got the better of the successful launch of the Korean MMO Lost Ark in our European countries. Faced with the extent of the technical problems, Amazon Games, which takes care of the edition and the localization of the title, and Smilegate had to postpone the launch: an additional wait which caused the frustration of the fans. Except that this frustration is exacerbated due to a very specific point, the queues and leaves more and more room for anger.
The story was too good for the long-awaited new MMO not to take a nasty backlash. Everything had started well, however: early access had given hope a cannon launch for action-RPG. However, D-Day was a cold shower and the European launch had to be quirky of a few hours.

However, the idyll with the players quickly turned sour on this Valentine’s Day: instead of praising and flattering the title of Smilegate, a large part of the players preferred to vent their anger, and this because of a particular problem: endless queues!
Right now, the game is over 50,000 ratings on Valve’s platform and when you take a look at the reviews, it’s an army of red thumbs and comments targeting the queuing issue are eye-catching! Just on this day: the ratio of positive and negative evaluations is 7474 out of 4019, which had the effect of dropping the game’s rating on Steam.
Within two days, the MMO’s rating went from “extremely positive” to “average”. Thereby, Lost Ark runs into the same problem as the one encountered by Call of Duty : Vanguard, Battlefield 2042 or Grand Theft Auto : The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. On Reddit, some players have spoken out in defense of the negative review they posted following the endless queues.
A huge and lively debate was then created on the interest of such a practice, all the more so when the individuals in question consider that they have appreciated the few hours that they have managed to spend on the game. For their part, the developers communicated on the situation around the queues and intend to offer playersincluding those who expressed their displeasure on Steam, some rewards.
