The MMORPG Lost Ark brings a new update on March 24th, which brings massive compensation for the players. In addition, you can expect many new mechanics and bug fixes as well as a downtime. We at MeinMMO tell you everything regarding the patch notes and server maintenance.
What’s in the update? The weekly update is particularly large this week and that is not only noticeable in the downtime. A lot of new content, compensation and bug fixes await you. But the most important are the following elements:
- A new event with easier Guardian Raids for all players, Amazon’s response to the shortage of upgrade materials.
- The first PvP season starts on March 24th and lets you rank up. Only 30 players can get the best rank.
- Lots of gifts for the players. These include pheons, legendary card packs, character and pet skins, new mounts and upgrade materials for all tiers.
- Bug fixes for the Arkesia Grand Prix event, as well as quests, voice chat, and translations.
- A new system to stop the bots in the game. The community is currently despairing of a bot flood.
With the update, Amazon reacts quickly to the wishes of the players and the discussion regarding the so-called dead zone when upgrading equipment. It turns out to be much more extensive than that Last week’s update which also brought some compensations.
How long is the maintenance? The servers go offline at 6:00 am German time. Then the patch is applied and the maintenance work is carried out. These are expected to last 8 hours. So the servers should come back online at 2pm.

We also assume that you will need to download a patch once the servers are back online as the changes are quite extensive.
Weekly Update on March 24th – Patch Notes
- Enjoy Guardian Raids in a more relaxed way! Relax, play, and get booster materials as rewards. The Scale of Balance is used to adjust the character’s stats to the Guardian’s level, and the difficulty level is adjusted according to the number of participants in the raid.
- Players can challenge Helgaia, Helgaia of Frost, Lumerus, Ur’Nil, Vertus, Chromanium, Nacrasena, Dark Legoros, Ice Legoros, Calventus, and Levanos! This event, which players with item level 250 or higher can participate in, will last for regarding a month.
- The full supply of Tier 1, 2, and 3 Enhancement Material Chests, Metallurgy and Tailoring books (to increase the enhancement rate), and a Tier 3 Jewel Chest are available to purchase every week until the end of the event.
- Competitive Trials Arena Season 1 begins following the weekly update pause on March 24th. Players can queue for Team Deathmatch mode and compete once morest each other for glory and rewards.

Adjustments for the Arkesia Grand Prix:
- The weekly reward table now also includes Metallurgy and Tailoring books (to increase the reinforcement rate).
- There are now more weekly boost materials to ensure players are rewarded for participating.
- Destruction Stone Crystal (Bound) now comes in packs of 50 and can be redeemed up to 10x.
- Guardian Stone Crystal (Bound) now comes in packs of 150 and can be redeemed up to 10x.
- You can now earn more coins to make it easier for you to purchase the new items and get the rewards you want. Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raid now award 125 instead of 100 coins for the first two daily completions per character. Daily completion of the Grand Prix itself now rewards up to 888 coins instead of 800.
New anti-fraud and bots system:
- In this update there is a new system to prevent bots and fraudulent purchases. Players who have an active Steam account and have met the minimum purchase requirement to use Steam social systems should not notice this at all.
- Players who claim this trusted status through Steam or Lost Ark have not acquired limited access to a small number of social and economic systems. Specifically, these players will have a lower daily limit on Steam purchases than “trusted” players and will not be able to:
- Initiate trades between players (although they can receive requests)
- Send in-game gifts
- Exchange royal crystals for gold
- Send emails with attachments in game
Weitere Bug-Fixes:
- New, clearer notification of failed purchases.
- In-game localization and translations have been overhauled and improved.
- Fixed bug where players might accept the quest “Off to the Races” without being level 50.
- Fixed voice chat issues in South America.
- Fixed an issue where Adventure Island rewards might only be claimed once during the weekend.
- Fixed World Boss achievement bug. Players who have already earned this achievement will now see it as completed.
