Madrid, Feb 15 “Lost Ark”, the new great success of Amazon Games, accumulated more than 1,325 million simultaneous players worldwide during the first twenty-four hours of its launch, which makes it the second most played title in the story on “Steam”, the leading online gaming platform for PC. This would avoid waiting when connecting and speed up loading times, a problem that many users complained regarding on February 11, when it was launched in the western market, where they have already exceeded 4, 7 million registered players, of which 45% come from Europe and 55% from North and Latin America. In addition to those more than 1,325 million simultaneous players, a peak only surpassed by “PUBG: Battlegrounds” with more than 3,250 million concurrent users, “Lost Ark” has also swept its numbers on Twitch, with 1.2 million views simultaneous, 59.9 million hours watched and more than 112,000 total direct. “We are honored and happy by the enthusiastic response from Lost Ark players,” says Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Games, who also highlights “the honor” of having two titles in the top five most played games in “Steam” thanks to the presence also of “New World” “We are working very closely with Smilegate RPG -developer of ‘Lost Aark’- to add more content, regular updates and maintain a worldwide community of players in ‘Lost Ark’ for years to come.
