The debacle of the Yucatecan team in the quarterfinals of the Clausura last year, when they arrived as leaders to the finals and were eliminated in the first round by Atlético La Paz, has not been completely erased.
So, from tomorrow they hope to begin writing a new stage. Rigoberto Espinoza, from the young generation of Mexican coaches, accepted the challenge of managing the Venados, a team he knows, since he was an assistant coach last season.
The core of the team continues the process that began in the two previous tournaments and Espinoza and his coaching staff added important pieces to each line, which we present today in this one-by-one before the new adventure. There is a notable mix of experience and youth in the team.
