The Los Angeles Lakers signed the Japanese Roy Hachimura, in an exchange deal, with the Washington Wizards, which includes Kendrick Nan and several draft options, in the NBA. Hachimura participated in 30 games with the Washington Wizards this season, averaging 13 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. “We are excited to welcome Roy and his family to the Los Angeles Lakers,” Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka said in a statement. He continued, “Rui Hachimura is an addition to the depth in the squad and the wing position. This is an opportunity by acquiring a player with great skills.”
And the 24-year-old was chosen in ninth place in the “Draft” league in 2019, and during 4 seasons he achieved rates of 13 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists. His arrival in California coincides with the suffering of the Lakers, who are struggling to reserve one of the qualifying positions for the “Playoff” playoffs, as the 2020 champion occupies 12th place in Al Gharbia, with a negative record of 22-25.
