In exactly eight sleeps the hype will definitely be kicked up a notch as the fridge will be full and the eyes full of stars. We are of course talking about the resumption of the season, and if it is the Lakers who will be showing the double header of the opening against the Warriors, in Los Angeles it is the Clippers who leave with the favors of the predictions this season. Kawhi Leonard is here and he looks good, Paul George is there and he looks good, John Wall is here and he seems good, and all around this trio (is he really one?) an almost ideal supporting cast for a coach. Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Norman Powell or Terance Mann on the back lines, Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris or Robert Covington to shoot, defend and/or fight, Ivica Zubac to zoubatcher, and on the bench a Tyronn Lue who must be well Rub your hands together and hope that everyone stays healthy, because that is the most important component of the upcoming Sailing season. In full it seems very very very strong, but will they be over time? Here’s a very nice question that we don’t answer at all in this preview, but that’s no reason not to watch it.
