Los Amarillos, the First Volunteer Fire Company of the CBVP, begin their annual collection

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Volunteer Fire Department of Paraguay (Amarillos) begins this Friday its annual collection that will last until Sunday, October 6. During these days, volunteers will take to the streets to request the collaboration of citizens.

In this framework, the First Company “Bomba Asunción”, located on Rafael Barret and Capitán Román García streets, Villa Aurelia neighborhood, seeks to raise the sum of G. 100,000,000, the amount of which will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for the firefighters.

Founded in 1978 as the first fire company in the country, it currently has 120 specialized volunteers, six emergency vehicles and a logistics vehicle.

The company has remained operational uninterruptedly for 46 years, covering large areas and neighborhoods of Asunción and supporting all of Greater Asunción, which makes it one of the largest and most active in Paraguay.

Collections are essential to guarantee the continuous operation of all CBVP Companies, since 60% of their budget comes from community contributions. This year, the national goal is to raise Gs. 5,000,000,000.

Under the motto “Together We Do More”, the volunteers call on citizens to join this vital cause. In addition to collaborating with donations, they invite those who wish to offer their time to help with the collection.

Those interested can register or request more information at the number 0961-100-001.

The collection offers various payment facilities, such as transfers through web banking, QR codes and POS terminals. It’s time to support those who are always there when the unthinkable happens.
