Text: Kieran Harris – Gamereactor.cnAs of this writing, there’s not exactly a shortage of Soulslikes in the gaming market, and the number of clones only seems to be increasing. The most successful of these is CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen, which was a surprising success with its epic battles and dark fantasy world.
Lords of the Fallen managed to sell a whopping 1 million copies in its first ten days alone, which is certainly not bad for a previously relatively unknown game (at least the original version released in 2014). This has now led to CI Games starting work on the sequel. However, this information has not been confirmed (or denied) by the studio itself, but instead comes from video game researcher Kurakasis, who noted that CI Games trademarked the name Fallen Dead, prompting him to Dig further on LinkedIn, and elsewhere.
