There has been much speculation in recent weeks that either classy tight end Travis Kelce or future Hall of Famer head coach Andy Reid might retire with a possible Super Bowl victory. However, it seems very likely that both will be back next year, if the tripling comes together.
This is specifically Kelce’s motivation, since in addition to announcing “Viva Las Vegas”, he also said on the podium that they have a chance to triple, so see you next year. Jeremy Fowler also reported that even coming off the podium he said he was coming back and wanted to do the triple. No one in the history of the NFL has ever been able to do that, which is why it would be such a big deal.
Travis Kelce adds: “We get a chance to do it three times in a row. … I’ll see y’all next year.”

And Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said that he expected Reid to coach his team this year as well. Related news from before the Super Bowl is that the champion is expected to receive an extension and a salary increase. According to CBS, he earns $12 million a year now, which is quite underpaid when some are beating the $20 million salary.
