According to Magazine Avto.ru, Iran Khodro is looking for a Russian partner who might help both with the launch of sales and with the localization of production. Negotiations have not yet been successful, but the Iranians are ready to give “very good prices” with a quality “better than that of French and Chinese cars.” Despite this, IKCO’s main competitor will, of course, be AvtoVAZ.
