Lonzo Ball will be operated on again

End of suspense regarding Lonzo Ball, which should not be on the attack for the start of the season. Last season his return to competition was constantly postponed and the Bulls announce that he will be operated on his left knee once more this week.

He will be reassessed in 4 to 6 weeks and will therefore in all likelihood miss the start of the season.

Operated on the meniscus of the knee at the end of January, the leader experienced a setback during his rehabilitation, in particular to go to races at full speed. Then finally at the beginning of April his return had been definitively canceled. We thought it wouldn’t be a problem, but throughout the summer the news hasn’t been very reassuring.

Ball’s injury, combined with that of Alex Caruso, had been a blow to the Bulls on both ends of the field. He was an essential pawn on offense and defense, and shot 13 points at 42.3% including a superb 42.3% from distance, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.9 once morest.
