This Thursday, an action will be carried out by the police unions at Charleroi airport. An operation that is part of a week of actions in public services. It is a question of salary, means but also early retirement.
What actions are planned? The CSC and CGSP unions will organize a filtering barrage from 6 a.m. or even a little earlier in order to ensure that as many travelers as possible are reached on departure. This barrier will be located at the access roundregarding to the various car parks at the airport, ie the only entry point for private vehicles.
On the program: raising awareness and distributing leaflets detailing the requests made by the police to the government, including a salary increase. Long queues are therefore to be feared on the various routes to the airport.
Airport management advises arriving three hours before departure on Thursday morning to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
A piece of advice that should be followed all the more, as the customs officers inside the departures terminal will join this movement. There is therefore also an additional waiting time to be feared inside the terminal.
