Changying Group announced on the 15th that the famous Changying cinematographer Gao Hongbao passed away at 19:38 on the 14th of this month at the age of 85. Gao Hongbao has worked as a photographer in many feature-length films such as “The Gunshots of the Secrecy Bureau”, “Inside the Heart” and “Roadside Guitar Team”.
Gao Hongbao, a native of Panshi, Jilin Province, was born in 1937. In 1958, he entered the performance training class of the Changying Actors Troupe. After graduating in 1960, he worked as a Changying actor. He played an important role in the movie “Red Plum Blossoms”, and in 1965 he became a camera assistant and in 1979 he was a photographer.

Since 1979, Gao Hongbao and Chang Yan, the famous film director of Changying Film, have cooperated in five works, namely “The Gunshots of the Secrecy Bureau”, “Love the Heavens and Hate the Sea”, “Deep Heart”, “Behind the Defendant” and “Roadside Guitar Team”. Among them, the photography style of the film “The Gunshots of the Secrecy Bureau” is dominated by dark tones, and the panorama and close-up appear alternately.
