London to Pathanamthitta: A 55-Day Journey for Charity Helping Children with Cancer

London ∙ A UK Malayali returned by car from his home in London to his home in Pathanamthitta. Many have completed journeys from London to India and back. The journey started from his home in London and will reach his home in Pathanamthitta after visiting 75 cities in different countries in 55 days.

The journey passing through various European countries will reach India via Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tibet and Nepal. Rajesh Krishna, who has now visited major cities in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, will reach Austria today.

The main purpose of the trip is to support the work of the Ryan Nynan Children’s Charity (RNCC). RNCC was started in 2014 in memory of UK Malayali Ryan Neenan who died of brain tumor at the age of 8. The main aim of the charity organization is to help children suffering from terminal diseases including cancer.

RNCC’s objectives include supporting children undergoing treatment at Helen House Hospice in the UK, the Ian Rennie Nursing Team and the Regional Cancer Center in Thiruvananthapuram. RNCC was started by Rajesh Krishna’s friends and UK Malayalees, John Nainan and his wife Asha Mathew.

Rajesh Krishna started his journey by car from London to Pathanamthitta at 9.30 am this past Wednesday, avoiding much fanfare. Traveling in a Volvo X60.
