An alarm was sounded at a tube station in north-east London on Tuesday morning after reports that several people had been attacked.
According to the first information, many people have been stabbed.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in London as he was seen roaming the streets of Hainault with a sword.

According to the protothema, Hainault metro station in Ilford has been closed by the police.
Residents said they were woken by “many voices”, “shrill screams” and a man “covered in blood” outside their homes.

Reports of two police officers being stabbed
According to the Daily Mail, residents said they were woken by “many voices”, “shrill screams” and saw a man “covered in blood” outside their homes.
The British media points out that two policemen and a resident have been stabbed.
People were seen gathering on the street outside Hainault metro station and a helicopter was seen circling overhead.

Wes Streeting, MP for Ilford North, wrote to the X: “A critical incident is being reported in Hainault.”
“There is a closure of the station and the roads. The police, ambulance service and fire department are responding.”
