Metro driver suspended after pro-Palestinian chant

A London Underground driver was suspended on Monday after a video was posted on social media in which he can apparently be heard directing a song in support of the Palestinians with passengers, the London transport operator announced , Transport for London (TfL).
The incident took place on Saturday, when tens of thousands of people took part in a demonstration in London in support of the Palestinians, two weeks after the bloody Hamas attack in Israel, which led to a violent response in the Strip from Gaza.

“We have urgently and thoroughly investigated footage showing a subway driver misusing the public address system to lead chants on a Central Line train on Saturday. The driver has now been identified and suspended, while we continue to investigate the incident, said Glynn Barton, head of operations at TfL.
On Saturday, the British Transport Police said they were “aware” of the incident and “investigating” with TfL. “A lot of people will find it threatening,” the Secretary of State for Security, Tom Tugendhat, responded on Saturday.
The Israeli embassy in the United Kingdom also found it “deeply disturbing to see such intolerance in the London subways”.
