THE music group Lomba Ajaib is preparing a new album. It is the second album after Selamat Datang di Ujung Dunia, which was released in 2021.
On June 27, 2024, Magic Competition released a song titled Extra Minutes, which describes a second chance.
Rayhan Noor, guitarist and vocalist of Lomba Ajaib, said that the second chance in the song Minutes Additional can be seen from life after the Covid-19 pandemic, some time ago.
“Now it’s like we’ve been given a second life after the pandemic. We’ve been given the opportunity to survive, thankfully, there’s a lot we can take and we’ve survived enough, but on the one hand there are also many challenges because we always sometimes worry in the back of our heads too. A pandemic could happen again tomorrow,” said Rayhan Noor, Wednesday (21/8).
“So, yes, we are actually telling ourselves that we should just go through with whatever happened yesterday,” he continued.
Magic Competition will also release a song titled There’s No Right Time For Bad News. The song will be released on September 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, Lomba Ajaib feels like it’s been a long time since they released a new album. Moreover, their last album titled Selamat Datang di Ujung Dunia was released three years ago, precisely in 2021.
That’s what made Lomba Ajaib want to immediately release the second album which has been prepared with various surprises.
“Actually, the closest thing is that we want to release the second album as soon as possible, the closest is because it’s been a long time, our first album was in 2021, yes 3 years ago,” said Natasha Udu, the lead vocalist of Lomba Sihir.
“Just for the future, what the plan is going to be like is always a surprise with Lompat Sihir. So we don’t even know, suddenly what we will be like. So just wait and we will definitely update directly on Lompat Sihir social media,” he concluded. (Z-1)
