LoL: Everything we know so far about the new champion, Milio

For the past few years, Riot Games has focused on developing champions for every type of player. Even with 160+ characters in the game, the company still sees opportunity to release champions from different cultures, genders and in-game abilities.

The last champion was released in late 2022, in the Worlds update. K’Sante is a “damage tank” inspired by African culture.

Shortly following the release of the Aurelion Sol rework, Riot will release the first character of the year, Milio.

Milio, the enchanter of Ixtal

The new champion is a child of Ixtal, fulfilling the role of a charming support. Milio will have two different forms for each skilland you’ll be able to choose between the two through an interaction with your Ultimate.

Healing and Speed VS Damage and Crowd Control

Milio has one side of her abilities focused on buffing allies, through healing and movement speed – and one side focused on enemies, damage and crowd control. This “double” form is visible through the character’s effects, one with his Fire Form and another with his Firefly friends.

So far, that’s all the information that’s been leaked regarding Milio, but we can already get a pretty good idea of how the character will play. In the same way that Seraphine was a “Sona 2.0”, by all indications, Milio will be a “Lulu 2.0”. Remembering that this information has not been officially confirmed by Riot, they are leaks, and every leak must be interpreted with caution.

The person responsible for the leaks, Big Bad Bear, played Milio’s description on Midjourney AI and these were the following images generated by artificial intelligence:

When are you going out?

The only information we have regarding Milio’s release date is that it will be following the Aurelion Sol rework. We estimate that late March is a reasonable date for the release of new flaming support.
