A Logitech announced this week a new pair of productivity-focused peripherals: a new version of your keyboard MX Keys S eo mouse o MX Anywhere 3S. The top-of-the-line products keep the focus on productivity in this brand’s line, uniting the resources and features that users already like with some innovations that promise to make the accessories even more interesting.
The great novelty of the MX Keys S are the Smart Actions (Smart Actions). With feature — available in the app Logi Options+ —, it is possible to program shortcuts from a sequence of keys, for example, to perform actions in an automated way. It’s a great way to save time on repetitive tasks.
The keyboard also has three new function keys: one for emojis and another for on/off the microphone and for using voice typing. They can be better configured through the Logitech app, but they are quite interesting additions considering the current times and our new priorities when it comes to what we do on the computer.
In addition to the keyboard featuring an intelligent backlighting system, which adjusts to the ambient light conditions, you can customize the functions of the keys Fn
, including for specific apps. The manufacturer also promises fluid typing, with an adjusted angle for greater comfort, in addition to the keys being “in the shape of the fingertips”.
On a full charge, the MX Keys S battery lasts ten days with the lights on and five months if it is off, it is recharged through a USB-C port. The product supports several systems, such as macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Windows and Linux, connecting to devices via dongle ou Bluetooth.
There is also a Mini version without the numeric keypad, which does not include the dongle Logi Bolt. The product is available in graphite and gray. The larger version costs US$110while the smallest has the price of US$100.
The keyboard can also be purchased in a combo with the MX Master 3S mouse, released last year. Its highlight, as we commented at the time of its launch, is the optical sensor of up to 8.000DPIin addition to the scroll wheel MagSpeedwhich allows you to scroll to 1000 lines per second and its silent click.
In the combo with the MX Keys S, the two products go out by US$200.
MX Anywhere 3S
Finally, Logitech has also released yet another mouse, which shares the main features of the MX Master 3S. O MX Anywhere 3S it has, like its bigger brother, an optical sensor of up to 8,000DPI, in addition to scrolling up to 1,000 lines per second. All this, however, is accommodated in a smaller design and with fewer buttons, without the horizontal scrolling ones, it is worth noting.
We also have the same compatibility with several devices here, in addition to the Quiet Clicks and the possibility of connection via Logi Bolt or via Bluetooth with up to three devices alternately. The battery lasts up to 70 days on a charge, lasting three hours on a one-minute charge via the USB-C port.
Mouse button customization options are also available in the Logitech app. The product is available in three colors: in addition to gray and silver, we also have a rose. The price it’s from US$80.
The company also highlighted its efforts to make products more sustainable. Plastic parts of peripherals include post-consumer recycled material. The aluminum part in the MX Keys 3S, in turn, is produced using renewable energy — not fossil fuels. The company’s products are also certified carbon neutral.
