The logistics service provider Dachser is expanding its handling area at its Hörsching branch. The extension, with its approximately 3,050 square meters, is intended to provide more space for the handling of industrial and consumer goods. Six million euros will be invested and completion is planned for mid-2025.
The logistics center in Hörsching was opened in 2008. A variety of logistics services are offered: for example, there are 30,500 pallet spaces. After the hall extension, the transshipment warehouse will have around 11,200 square meters of storage and logistics space. The total area of the site will grow to 125,000 square meters. A social room for employees will also be created.
The investment is intended to prepare for future growth, according to a press release. According to branch manager Michael Rauhofer, ten new jobs will be created in the region.
Hörsching is one of nine Dachser branches in Austria. 672 employees generated sales of 201.8 million euros across Austria in 2023.
