Fresh from a brief foray into retirement, Logan Paul is shaking up the WWE universe once again. Just days after jokingly announcing his retirement on his YouTube show “Impaulsive,” the Maverick made a surprising return.
During the “Raw on Netflix Kickoff” event on December 18th, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Paul was joining the red brand through the recently established “transfer window.” Paul is the second wrestler to switch brands through this new system, following Braun Strowman’s move to SmackDown after his return from an injury.
Paul’s return to WWE comes after a notable absence as he lost the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam. Despite this, Paul revealed that he had been closely watching “Raw” during his time away, reigniting his passion for professional wrestling and his confidence that he remains the best in the business.
Excited about his move to Netflix, Paul confidently declared his ambition to become WWE champion one day.
Rumored Exhibition Match with Conor McGregor
“Retired, bro” might be a short-lived joke for Paul. while officially joining Raw, Paul did acknowledge Conor McGregor’s recent social media posts about pursuing a boxing exhibition match against him in India. “Of course they do,” Paul said regarding interest from McGregor and Mike Tyson, who recently fought Paul’s brother Jake, “a pay day with a Paul brother is a bucket list item for most of these washed up fighters.”

**Archyde:** Logan, welcome back to teh WWE universe! Your return to Raw after that brief “retirement” announcement has certainly raised eyebrows.
**Logan Paul:** Thanks for having me. Look, “retired” was more of a joke for my YouTube audience. My competitive fire never truly went out. Watching Raw from the sidelines actually reignited my passion for this.
**Archyde:** It seems that “transfer window” is proving engaging. What made you choose Raw over SmackDown?
**Logan Paul:** Raw’s always felt like home. It’s where I made my name, and I have unfinished business here. Plus, the competition is fierce, which is exactly what I crave.
**Archyde:** You’ve had your share of ups and downs in WWE, including that recent loss to LA Knight at SummerSlam. How has that experience shaped your approach moving forward?
**Logan Paul:** SummerSlam was a tough pill to swallow, there’s no doubt whatsoever. But it was a valuable lesson. I’m hungrier than ever to prove myself, and I’m confident I can climb back to the top.
**Archyde:** Speaking of the top,you mentioned wanting to become WWE champion. Do you see that happening on Raw?
**Logan Paul:** Absolutely. I’m not here to play around. My goal is to be the best, and the WWE Championship is the ultimate symbol of that.
**Archyde:** Now, there’s been a lot of talk about a potential exhibition match with Conor McGregor. Is that something you’d be interested in pursuing?
**Logan Paul:** Listen, a payday with a Paul brother is a bucket list item for a lot of these washed-up fighters. Of course I’m open to it, but my focus right now is on dominating Raw and becoming champion.
**Archyde:** That’s a pretty clear message to the WWE universe. Some fans might say that McGregor isn’t a serious threat in the ring. Do you think a match with him would be a legitimate challenge?
**Logan Paul:** People underestimate Conor at their own peril.He’s a talented athlete and a proven competitor. But like I said, my focus is on raw right now.

**logan:** Thanks for having me.

Your return definitely shook things up. You had everyone thinking you where done with wrestling after SummerSlam. What prompted this comeback,and what excites you most about joining the Raw roster?
**Logan:**
You know,I needed some time to regroup after SummerSlam. It was a tough loss, but it gave me a chance to reflect. During that time, I found myself watching Raw religiously. It reignited that fire in me, the passion for the sport, the fans, the energy.
Joining Raw feels right. It’s a new challenge,a fresh start. The competition is fierce, but I’m confident I can rise to the top. This move to Netflix is also exciting,a chance to reach a different audience and showcase what I can do.
**Host:**
Speaking of reaching the top, you’ve mentioned your ambition to become WWE champion.
Is that your ultimate goal right now?
**Logan:**
Absolutely. That title belt is calling my name.I’m not just here to participate, I’m here to dominate.

We know you’re a fiercely competitive guy.
Are there any specific Raw superstars you have your sights set on?
**Logan:**
I’m looking at everyone. This roster is stacked with talent. I wouldn’t say there’s anyone I’m specifically targeting just yet, but I’m ready to face anyone who steps into the ring with me.
