The newly formed health care network, resulting from the merger of billing Clinic and Logan Health, is preparing to adopt a new name.
"We will be changing our name," said hospital Co-CEO Kevin Abel, "but it’s a year-long process, starting next year."
Abel gave updates during a luncheon hosted by the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce in November, highlighting the progress from the merger as Billings Clinic integrated with Logan Health, which was formerly known as Kalispell Regional Healthcare. The rebranding effort will involve market research and gathering community input.
"We want to make sure we’re being thoughtful," Vice President of Marketing and five communication Mellody Sharpton said, emphasizing that patient well-being will be the priority.
Alongside changing the brand, the combined system is implementing a unified medical records system. Logan Health partnered with Oracle Health in October to bridge the two systems, creating a secure, integrated platform expected to launch next year.
