**Marcel:** It’s‌ my​ pleasure to be here.

You’ve been donating blood for over six decades, a truly remarkable achievement. Can you tell us what inspired you to start this journey?

**Marcel:** Well, back ⁢in 1961, I⁤ simply felt⁤ it was the right thing⁤ to do. Helping others in need, ⁤especially when it ‍comes to something as vital as blood, felt like‌ a ⁢responsibility‌ we all ​shared.

**Interviewer:** ⁢You’ve not‍ only been a dedicated donor but also a vital part of the L’Association des Donneurs de Sang du Pays de Locminé. What role have you played in⁣ the association?

**Marcel:**

I joined the Locminé association in 1965.​ I’ve tried my best to ensure every ‍blood drive runs smoothly. You could find me behind the scenes, taking ⁤care of logistics,‍ and making sure donors were comfortable ⁣and well‍ taken care of.

**Interviewer:** ‌You⁤ mentioned comfort. I understand food is​ a big⁤ part of⁤ these events. Can you elaborate?

**Marcel:** Most certainly. It’s always important to keep spirits high. ⁣Arranging for​ refreshments and snacks is a small way to show appreciation to those giving their time ‍and blood.

Reaching‍ 100 donations is an incredible milestone. What motivated you to⁢ keep going all these years?

**Marcel:**⁣ Knowing that each donation potentially saves lives was my biggest motivation. It’s a small act with a potentially huge⁤ impact, and that’s what kept me going.

You’ve become a true pillar of the community. What advice would you give to those hesitant about donating ‍blood?

**Marcel:** I would​ simply say, give⁤ it a ⁤try. It’s a safe and relatively painless process, ⁤and the rewards are immeasurable. ⁤You never know whose life you ⁢might ‌save.
