On February 3 and 4, the ninth version of the so-called Master Tour will take place, while the Ascension of the Nevados de Chillán is reserved for February 16, 17 and 18. Registration for both tests can be done at the address www.bikerace.cl

The fair, which is organized by the Chillán Cycling Group, has the support of the Municipality of Chillán. “We are very much looking forward to the 50th version of the Ascension of Los Nevados de Chillán, which will have the traditional prelude to the Master Tour. For us as a Municipality, they are traditional competitions and as such we will be involved in all the logistics, operations and providing resources,” said Hernán Blasco, sports advisor of the Municipality of Chillán.

The president of the Cycling Association, Francisco Balboa, valued the municipal support and highlighted that both dates provide points for the national ranking, which is why they fall into the so-called Chile Cup dates. “A large number of high-level competitors will arrive. The municipality has always been a seven, Mayor Camilo Benavente gave us his support and we can do the competitions with more confidence.”

The Master Vuelta has 120 places for men from 35 years of age (Master Category A) and category 60 years and over, and for women, a unique series from 35 onwards.

The 50th version of the Ascension to Los Nevados includes the categories Elite, Junior, Sub 23, Master A (35 to 39), Master B (40 to 49), Master C (50 59), Master D 60 years and over and Ladies Open .
