Lizy Tagliani is now a mother: “The time has come to bond with a little person”

Lizy Tagliani said that she is now a mother, after fulfilling her desire to adopt: “She gave birth to our heart” (Telefe Noticias, Telefe)

Little by little, Lizy Tagliani is fulfilling the dreams she set for herself in life. Consolidated in her role as a host and comedian, one of her pending tasks is to become a mother and enlarge the family she formed with Sebastián Nebot, whom she married in March of last year. On several occasions she opened up about her loving decision to adopt and that dream would be coming true. On Telefe Noticias (Telefe) she shared all her joy at being a mother.

“I am very happy. We have been with Sebas for some time with the adoption process and finally the time has come for him to be linked to a little person, so God willing we have a great chance of becoming his family. We are very excited and very mobilized,” she said, sensitized.

“We cannot talk about the little person, nor give details, not even his name, much less his image, because of a question of protecting his identity. It is a long process,” she said. “There is something very beautiful that the judge told me, which is that they are not looking for children to be parents, but rather they are looking for a family for children. We are very happy, delighted because everything was like magic,” she said, with glassy eyes.

“A friend of mine brought me a little medal of the Miraculous Medal a while ago, she gave it to me and something very strange happened. She brought it to me from Luján, and if you go there you bring the one of the Virgin of Luján. My mother was very devoted to the Miraculous Medal. That was on a Wednesday. On Thursday, Sebastián told me that they called us from the court,” she began to relate. “Adrogué was very special for me because it was very healing and very beautiful. My mother and I lived through many ugly things and when we went to Adrogué we went through very nice things. Sebastián and I looked for a house there in case the adoption thing ever happened,” she recalled.

Chance brought her back to the place where she grew up and spent much of her life. “We had several interviews, then the judicial fair came and then they gave us permission to meet each other. We met and it was beautiful,” she said, about the profound moment they lived. “It all happened in a little over a year. There is still nothing firm, we still have the judicial hearings and we are in the process of making the connection,” she said, cautiously.

“It’s a little person… It’s changing someone’s life, being a family to someone and seeing a world so hard and so wonderful with people who are working to find a family for those little people. First we had a talk beforehand, precisely so we wouldn’t cry because what are we going to bring to them… Anguish? Crying?” she said, while wiping away her tears and laughing at the same time. “Afterwards when we saw each other it was beautiful. I couldn’t explain it,” she shared.

The encounter with the child, according to Lizy, took her back to her childhood. “I saw Luisito in that situation,” she began, referring to the biological name she herself received at birth. “Thank God my mother was always able to be with me, but we went through so many things that could easily have been like that. It is having the possibility of changing someone’s life. I hope it is all for the better,” she said, hopeful.

She also seemed cautious about the process they are going through. “Sebastian and I are very excited that everything is going well. There is a reason we are making such great progress,” she said, before giving details of how her life began to change.

“It’s so nice to play, to lie on the floor and not get tired. To keep my bones from hurting, to make little things. To bring him his chocolate, to wait for that moment. We brought him a little gift so he’ll remember us and a lot of other things that I can’t tell you about,” she listed, moved. “It’s beautiful. He gave birth to our hearts. It’s magical. Seeing a little person with so much love and having this possibility is wonderful,” she concluded, with a deep emotion.

A few hours earlier, journalist Santiago Riva Roy on Nuestra tarde con Denise (Public TV) had said that the host had confirmed the most emotional news. “Lizy Tagliani and her husband are going to be parents. It’s a search that had been going on for a while and they thought it would take a while,” he said on the show. “They have custody of this child and they are already a family. All that’s missing is the final adoption,” he explained.

“Lizy and her husband Sebastian are now parents!” celebrated Denise Dumas, the host of the program. “Lizy did not want to go into details because she does not want to hinder anything with legal issues until the final adoption is complete,” she commented. “He is not a baby and he is not a teenager, he is a child. He is a child who needed a family. Justice understands the paradigm shift and instead of a father looking for a child, it is the other way around. It is a boy or a girl looking for a family. With this change, Lizy is now a mother,” she detailed.

“We are on the adoption list and hopefully, God willing, it will happen soon. We are very happy and very pleased. We are on the right track,” said the host, in a note she made with the same program with Lizy at the door of the radio station where she works.

“There is something very nice that the judge told me, I don’t know if I’m right in saying this, but when we had a meeting she told me ‘we don’t look for children for families, we look for families for children’. It’s a totally different perspective and much better, especially for the child,” she emphasized, regarding her life decision.
