Considering the attachment of the Forces Vives de Guinée (FVG) to peace, to the rules and principles of democracy and the rule of law,
Considering the respect that its members have for the religious authorities of our country and its unwavering desire to contribute to the restoration of the confidence and serenity essential to the opening of a fruitful dialogue between the authorities and the political and social actors,
And, responding favorably to the steps of the religious authorities and other goodwill having expressed the wish to work towards the satisfaction of the prerequisites required by the FVG for their participation in a credible and fruitful dialogue with the CNRD,
The FVG have decided to postpone the peaceful demonstration initially scheduled for March 9, 2023 in Greater Conakry to Wednesday March 15, 2023.
This postponement aims to give every chance of success to the steps taken by the team of the Minister Secretary General of Religious Affairs and the Imam of the Great Mosque of Conakry for the satisfaction of the legitimate claims of the FVG.
The FVG call on pro-democracy and justice-loving citizens to remain mobilized to resume demonstrations if necessary on the date indicated above.
Together united and united, we will win.
