‘Living Computer’ Made of Human Nerves Available for Rent – World

In search of low-power artificial intelligence tools, experts are now embracing ‘living computers’ as an option. According to a report in Live Science, ‘living computers’ are made from human neurons.

As the demand for artificial intelligence has increased, so has the pressure on energy infrastructure. Artificial intelligence tools are massive energy consumers for storage and other issues.

Scientists are now developing new types of computers using lab-grown cells. Nerve fibers formed as bundles of cells are connected to the server. Computers manufactured in this way are available on rent for $500 per month. This is called biocomputing.

Swiss company FinalSpark is among the pioneers in biocomputing. Human cells grown in the lab are called organoids. FinalSpark co-founder Frank Iverden says FinalSpark is probably the only organization in the world doing this.
