Liverpool’s Dominant Victory Secures Spot in European Football League Eighth Final: Full Round-Up and Highlights

English Liverpool qualified for the eighth final of the European Football League, following its great 4-0 victory over its guest LASK Linz, Austria, on Thursday evening, in the fifth (penultimate) round of the fifth group stage of the continental competition, which also witnessed a scoreless draw with French club Toulouse with its guest. Leverkusen, which officially qualified for the final, strengthened its lead in the group, following raising its score to 15 points, following winning all five of its matches, while Karbag and Molde ranked second and third with 7 points each, and Hacken remained at the bottom of the standings with no points.

In the second group, Olympique Marseille of France and Brighton of England qualified for the knockout rounds.

Brighton won with a clean goal over its host AEK Athens in Greece, while Marseille beat its guest Ajax Amsterdam 4-3 in the Netherlands.

Marseille occupies first place with 11 points, one point ahead of its closest competitor, Brighton, while AEK Athens occupies third place with 4 points, and Ajax is at the bottom of the standings with two points.
