Liverpool players won the League Cup in England for the tenth time in history. The Reds defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the final at Wembley following extra time. The goal was scored in the 118th minute by Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk.
Sunday’s match was fierce and exciting. There were plenty of chances on both sides, but the goalkeepers did great. The teams even scored one goal each during the 90 minutes, but these goals were canceled following VAR analyses.
