Press reports revealed that the Liverpool administration is studying the inclusion of Ibrahim Adel, the Pyramids wing and the Egyptian national team, following the overwhelming success of his compatriot Mohamed Salah with the red team.
And “90min” reported that the English team’s management is interested in contracting the 21-year-old, who the report described as “the new Mohamed Salah.”
The report indicated that Salah was keen to convey a complete picture of the player’s talent to his club officials, and that the “Reds” scouts were already familiar with him.
The Pyramids player received an offer of 2 million pounds from the Danish Norrchland in the last transfer market, but the Pyramids management insisted on obtaining five million pounds, in addition to some variables.
The report indicated that Liverpool is not the only interested in Adel, but Arsenal, Brighton, Brentford and Nottingham Forest are also watching his situation.
Adel moved to Pyramids in February 2018 from Al-Merreikh Port Said, and has since played 78 games in the blue shirt, scored 22 goals and assisted his teammates with 9 assists.
Adel played with Salah 16 minutes during Egypt’s 1-0 victory over Guinea in the upcoming African Nations Cup qualifiers.
