Liverpool FC continue their winning streak in the 36th round of the Premier League, beating Leicester City 3-0.
At the King Power Stadium in Leicester, both teams got off to a flying start until the Merseyside favorites struck cold.
After a counterattack, the ball lands in the 33rd minute on the right side of the sixteen with Mohamed Salah, who puts Curtis Jones in the limelight with a buttery cross – the 22-year-old beats Leicester goalkeeper Iversen and scores the 1-0.
But the “Reds” follow suit. Again it is a Salah Jones co-production, the Egyptian served the scorer to 1-0 in a central position, who plucked up courage and scored the second goal in a manner well worth seeing (36th).
Leicester must hope for miracles
Although Leicester City tries hard, they can in no way cause any danger offensively. Instead, the Klopp squad closed the sack in the 71st minute. Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold made the preliminary decision with a wonderful free kick.
As a result, neither of the two teams can write more, the game ends 3:0 for the guests.
Liverpool FC is reaping the seventh league success en suite and is fifth in the table, the “Reds” can still hope for a CL starting place.
However, Leicester City, in 19th place following 36 match days, no longer has it in their own hands to avert relegation.
