Some people develop liver cancer, which hinders them from performing the tasks of their lives, and may end in death, due to the delay in detecting the infection.
In the following lines, the “Consulto” reviews the hidden and apparent symptoms of liver cancer, and methods of treatment, according to Dr. Wahid Doss, head of the National Committee for Hepatitis.
Symptoms of liver cancer
At the beginning of liver cancer, there are no symptoms, but some people may notice a noticeable change in their bodies, such as feeling pain or swelling in the abdomen.
Abdominal swelling may lead to discomfort or pain, loss of appetite or feeling full quickly.
Severe weight loss.
Feeling sick and vomiting.

Ascites when the liver does not produce enough blood protein or albumin.

Healthy habits of a liver cancer patient
– Eat a healthy diet.
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
– Reduce saturated fat foods and soft drinks.
Determining the amount of protein needed for it and not to waste it.
Follow healthy cooking methods such as boiling, grilling, or steaming.
Continuous medical follow-up.
Methods for early detection of liver cancer
Early detection is by:
Ultrasound rays.
Clinical examination.
– Tumor markers analysis every 4 months for free.
If it is confirmed that it is infected, a CT or MRI scan is done.
And whoever is proven to have liver cancer, the most appropriate type of treatment is determined.

Methods of treating liver cancer tumors
Surgical intervention by resection or liver transplantation.
Oral and intravenous drug therapy.
