The entire country was placed on yellow wind alert from Saturday 9:00 p.m. until Sunday 8:00 p.m., indicates the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
The wind will strengthen “significantly” during the night from Saturday to Sunday, with gusts generally between 65 and 75 km/h, underlines the IRM. The wind could even blow up to 80 km/h in a heavy downpour. Which justifies placing the territory on yellow alert.
Sunday, the weather will remain windy, with gusts that could reach or exceed 70 km/h.
