After Poland, the Slovak Prime Minister announced that his country would deliver 13 Soviet-designed Mig-29s to Ukraine. According to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, interviewed on Danish television TV2, discussions are underway among Western countries on a possible delivery of combat aircraft to Ukraine.

“We are discussing it within the group of allied countries. It is an important wish of Ukraine,” she said. Denmark would be “open” to the idea of ​​sending combat planes to Ukraine, the Minister of Defense told DR public radio.

XI JINPING EN RUSSIE

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has announced that the Chinese president will visit Russia next week. “At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22,” the ministry said in a statement without further details.

For its part, the Kremlin specified that Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping “will discuss the deepening of the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China” in particular “on the international scene”, adding that “important bilateral documents would be signed”.
