A South Korean court has granted two Russian nationals, stranded for months at an airport, the right to formally apply for refugee status, allowing them to enter the Asian country.

The men, whose lawyer asked not to be named for safety reasons, have been trapped inside Incheon International Airport since October, following fleeing Russia for refusing to fight in Ukraine.
