The new season of Stazione Radio began on 5 April, the cultural center created in the former electrical substation of Milan Central Station with the aim of giving new life to the structure that stands near the Martesana canal and promoting sustainability.
He opened the season with a podcast on food and sustainability, starring chef Pietro Leeman, which includes 24 weekends of events.
The first protagonists were Laura Castelletti and Giorgio Gori, mayors of Brescia and Bergamo respectively, to talk regarding the experience of being the capital of culture, the relationship between cities and Europe, social and environmental sustainability for Lombard cities, while on Sunday between the guests there were Roberto Boffi and Lorella Beretta, authors of a book on the unsustainability of smoking and Ilaria Fiorillo (@milano_in_bicicletta) cycle activist and author of the book “Of bicycles and other happiness”.
And one of the possible activities at Stazione Radio is the rental of radio bikes for walks along the Martesana.
In the events organized, thanks to the support of the Cariplo Foundation, the spaces of Stazione Radio will come alive with live podcast shows, workshops and themed aperitifs.
