Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante speaks to the media on Sunday morning regarding the multiple events of armed violence that have taken place in the city this summer.

Ms. Plante provided an update on the resurgence of armed violence in Montreal from 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The suspect who allegedly shot three innocent people in 24 hours on August 3 caused a reaction from a large part of the Montreal population, who questioned the safety of the city.
