Faced with these extreme weather conditions, Belgium is placed on yellow alert. An orange alert has also been issued for Hainaut, the Coast and West Flanders.

While caution is required and many people will prefer to stay in a safe place, the more daring can venture out for leisure activities.

In fact, certain parks, where falling trees are possible, are closed. However, the Pairi Daiza zoological park kept its doors open this Thursday.

On the De Panne side, the Plopsaland park is also open.

In Walloon Brabant, the Walibi amusement park is also open. Still in Walloon Brabant, however, we note the cancellation of Lanterna Magica, this event which takes place in La Hulpe where a spectacular walk was planned in the forest. Faced with the danger this represents, the organizers decided to cancel the event this Thursday evening.
