WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan successfully defended her title against Iyo Sky at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th, 2024. Though, a tense moment occurred during the match when Sky connected with a forceful knee strike to Morgan’s face.
This sparked concern among fans, but according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Morgan appears to have avoided any serious harm. “The word we are hearing is that Liv Morgan is OK and somehow did not suffer a broken nose.I have not confirmed why her nose was bleeding after the IYO SKY dropkick,” Johnson reported, “but we are told Morgan was checked out by WWE medical and was OK.”

**Archyde:** Liv Morgan, congratulations on successfully defending your WWE women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky at Saturday Night’s Main Event. It was an incredible match, but that knee strike to the face looked brutal! How are you feeling after such a hard-fought victory?
**Liv Morgan:** Thanks! I’m feeling good, honestly. A little bruised and battered, of course, but that’s just part of the game.
**Archyde:** Fans were understandably concerned after seeing that strike. There was a lot of blood, and many feared the worst. Can you tell us what exactly happened?
**Liv Morgan:** It was a powerful kick, there’s no doubt whatsoever. But luckily, I didn’t break my nose. Somehow! Maybe my nose just has a high pain tolerance or something!

I haven’t had a chance to speak with the doctors yet to figure out why exactly I was bleeding, but I know I’m good to go.
